The WC2009 Innovation Award honors outstanding research and development projects in medical technology presented at the WC2009 that serve healthcare or healthcare management, and that have or promise to have a positive impact on economies and markets.
The Innovation Award is presented in three categories:
- Industry Award for product/system developments
- Science Award for individual achievements/research projects
- Young Talent Award for the best high-potential individual
A jury of leading experts will work on the selection of projects and evaluation of their potential upon submission.
The winners will be notified following the jury's decision on July 30, 2009. The WC2009 Innovation Awards will be presented to the winners at the festive “Innovation at Night“ event in front of a distinguished audience from politics, the sciences, medicine and industry on September 11, 2009.
